To mark the Open House Month of Indoestri Makerspace, we held a Textile & Leather 101 Class with Leonard Theosabrata on Saturday, October 4th 2014. We gathered around 20 people and a few media friends for a one day workshop at our Studio Class.

In our one day workshop, all the participants learn how to make a classic canvas bag with leather strap and Self Made print on it. They learn all the basic skills from drawing bag pattern, sewing, as well as silk screening. And at the end of the day, they bring home their own Self Made bag.

We also had the privilege meeting new people who came for our free tour. It was a really good start for more exciting classes in the future!
