Intermediate Jewelry Making: Stone Setting

You ask, we deliver! A lot of you have been asking for a stone setting worskhop, so here it is! We're super excited to have another workshop with the amazing team of From Tiny Islands. By joining this workshop, you will be equipped with basic and intermediate jewelry making skills, and learn all about incorporating stones and bezels into your jewelry.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

The workshop will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. English speakers may receive assistence in English.

• Learn to use the different tools used in jewelry making and how to properly and safely use them
• The different materials used for jewelry and their characteristics, and about stones and bezels
• The techniques of cutting precise shapes using the tools provided
• Soldering — the joining of two ends by melting and putting a filler metal into the joint (for the ring band)
• Finishing techniques — smooth any rough edges
• Your own #SelfMade ring you will be making throughout the 6-hour workshop

• Although very few of our workshops are canceled, Indoestri Makerspace reserves the right to cancel a workshop if it has not enrolled enough participants. In the event that a workshop is cancelled, you will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund.
• Participants must agree to give Indoestri Makerspace unrestricted publishing rights for any pictures or footages that are taken during the workshop session.
