Pottery: Texturing Technique

Learn the different techniques of texturing, and make your own box and bowl with carvings and patterns! Carvings will be made using a carving tool (provided), or objects from nature, to bring the outdoors in. You will also learn the basic of wedging and shaping clay, as well as the knowledge on the nature of clay (you’d be surprised!). Beginners are welcome to join this workshop!

Mugs and steerer will be brought back by Kharis at the end of the workshop for firing, and can be picked up at our makerspace after 2-3 weeks.

The workshop will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. English speakers may receive assistence in English.
