If you've ever found yourself at Indoestri Makerspace on Saturday mornings, here's something that you must do - take a stroll around the area and observe very distinct activities being done at different spots. Collect some courage to speak to class participants and hear interesting stories about their decision to take the class. Then, treat yourself a plate of homemade food at our cafe, Dawn & Willow, at lunch time!

Last Saturday, our lounge has turned into a forum for starting your brand, a class with Indoestri Makerspace’s founder, Mr. Leonard Theosabrata; our studio was filled with loud hammer noise as class participants were busy crafting their self-made license wallets and people at our makerspace learned the basic of woodworking by making a toolbox.

Participants of How to Start Your Brand with Mr. Leonard Theosabrata were grouped into teams in which they created brand prototypes along with the production plan and invited to present their concepts to the whole class. Whereas participants of License Wallet Making class with Born Goods and Woodworking 101 got the chance to get their hands on the tools, machines and materials then brought home the results of what they learned that day.

Nothing pleases us more than encountering all these people from different backgrounds, interests and intention who came down to Indoestri Makerspace on Saturday to learn something new and interact with other individuals, sharing about their upcoming projects or even just what’s been keeping them busy lately. From those who island-hopped to attend our class until a newlyweds who intended to learn woodworking so that they could make their own furnitures for their house, everybody shared the same SelfMade spirit.

We look forward to meeting each one of you who’s reading this - a penny for your thoughts.
