Pottery for Kids
Children are very much drawn to clay because it is a wonderful and tactile medium and many kids have never experienced before. Its three dimensional nature allows them to think about structure, shapes and forms. The immediacy of constructing a clay objects allows children to translate their ideas at ease.
In this class, kids will learn hand-building techniques with a slab of clay.Through a carefully guided step-by-step process of making a bowl, children will understand the characteristic nature of clay. After the bowl is constructed, your children will be able to execute their vision in decorating the bowl with animal figurines and with the use of pigments and colourful under-glazes.

Note: Children younger than 12 years old need to be accompanied by adult.
