We often see an item of clothing and applaud the design and finishing details, but really fail to acknowledge the skill and labour that went into turning the original design into something that can be put and sewn together and reproduced. In this class, you will learn to :
- Do basic drafting, pattern making, pattern piece and have an advance choice of design upon request agreed by the group (5 designs to choose from!)
- Understand the terminology of drafting language
- Understand various finishing techniques and how to draft clothes with lining
