Derby is one of the most popular shoe design originally from North America. Derby shoe characterized by quarters with shoelace eyelets that are sewn on top of the vamp.
In this 2 full days workshops, each student will be provided with a standard shoe paper pattern, shoe making tools, and shoe making materials to work with. They will be also be provided with a pair of shoe lasts of your size which they will work heavily on.
Students will be guided through the many hand-making steps from constructing the uppers to the soles. Students are needed to commit the following number of sessions in order to complete their pair of exquisite DERBY Shoes. This is an intensive course which is physically and mentally demanding.
Recommendation:
It is advisable to take up our Shoe Design and Pattern Making Class together with one of our making courses.
